the cab is lined up with the bed so i dont think its the bed. I think when we dropped everything down it wasnt lined up right or it shifted and than i tighten the u-bolts down. I am going to look at it tomorrow and see what i can find.

 

i thought he kept his stock rims

 

didnt change the rims.

The only other thing it could be in the wheel spacers. They might have put one wrong sized one in there and didnt notice. I will take those off tomorrow and see what happens.

 

Got a tool dilemma... I can either return my Craftsman impact wrench ($150) and get some other hand tools/little things (pry bar, socket holders for toolbox, new air hose, possibly a floor jack) or keep the impact wrench and get the other stuff some other time. Suggestions?

 

are you not happy with the impact? Is it pneumatic or electric?

 

Got another harbor freight electric impact for Christmas, lol.

 

I'm completely happy with it and I would recommend it, but I'm not sure how much use I would get out of it. I just don't want to have it sitting in the toolbox for a long time and not using it.

It is the C3 series cordless impact, 19.2 volts.

 

Is the other one holding up? Can you dual wield now?

I'm sure you'll use it but if you are concerned you could return it and get a cheaper corded one. I'm not a fan of battery powered tools. They are a pain to keep up with and don't last the big projects and often times aren't as powerful.

 

i wish i had a electric one some times. I hate turning my compressor on bc it makes so much noise and the motor is on its last leg.

 

Oh yeah, I can dual wield now.

I'm about to get a electric sawzall cuz that cordless one sucks.

Yeah that would be a good idea. With the corded I could knock everything out without having to wait for the battery to charge. Thanks for the suggestion!

That would work out good, leaving some dough left over for the other stuff I'm looking to get.

lol you can never be done. There is always something else. i got a mechanics work stool for christmas and a new set of metric combo wrenchs bc my last set sucked and had like 4 sizes.

Nice, did you already get the welder? Which one did you decide on?

 

I've had it and the full mig set up for about a week now It's fun to stare at it. The guy that's supposed to do the outlet has a full time job and keeps having to work late so he's having a hard time making it over here. I'm doing my best to be patient.

I got the Hobart 187 and and 80 cu/ft 75/25 tank. And all the necessary gear including an auto darkening helmet. That thing is sweet. You can point a flash light at it and it darkens instantly. The reaction time is amazing.

 

hmmm...what am I gonna get after my lift? Ideas?
