Had squirrels try to nest in my truck and chewed some wires. Unfortunately, second time this year. Wanted to see if anyone knows specifically what these wires are for. They are through the firewall on the driver side up near the windshield. Tried to find a wiring schematic online but didn’t have luck. Looks like they can be spliced but since I’m still under warranty going to let the dealer take a look. Will be towing in as I really don’t want to start it. Just trying to figure out what I’m working with here.

This looks like it could go to the windshield wiper motor. The pig tail to it has 5 wires and the colors in your photo seem to match the schematic.

That makes a lot of sense based on where it’s coming out of the firewall. I was trying to figure out what would be going through up that high on its own. Thanks so much, really appreciate the info!

Does the the dealer cover squirrels under warranty? I know your insurance will.

Dealer does not and I would only do insurance if it was something major. The last time It was my main wiring harness but only 2 wires were chewed through. It was around $300 for diagnosis/repair. Assuming something similar this time as long as it’s nothing more than the wires I can easily see.

went to the dealer as truck only has 11000 miles and I’m not about to solder wires on the main harness. They do the work and it doesn’t impact my overall warranty. If the truck was like 5 years old with 75000 miles I’d just solder myself.
