That's right, a genuine BPF front skid for $40 OBO. It's already fully tested and qualified for off-road use.

Why is it so cheap? To put it bluntly, my wife decided to trail run some whoops on Red Canyon Trial Baja style and beat the living snot out of it. By the time our "discussion" was finished and she slowed down, the damage was done, but it did it's job and kept the engine safe. She learned her expensive lesson and already replaced the skid. Granted, I put a few "oops" scratches on it, but 90% of the damage was from its last outing.

I'm not interested in bending the mounting points back into place, but if you're resourceful and determined for an inexpensive skid, this could be your ticket.

After the mounting brackets are bent back into place, this fit 2nd Gens and will fit 3rd Gens with the adapter spacers shown in the photos ( included with sale ).

Remember, $40 is just the starting point on negotiations. I'd rather not toss it into metal recycling if I can help it. Seriously, any offer will be considered.

Probably so, but I don't have one, so someone else can have a great deal. :)

Ahhh my old skid plate. I see it went to good use... and abuse. That powder coat actually held up remarkably well.
