I spent my whole life being practical and thrifty, making good sensible decisions...
The only reason I bought this truck is that it looked cool and I wanted it. It is my metaphorical gold watch for all the work years, an old mans trophy - something to polish.

 

You know that the company is scraping the bottom of the barrel when you consider an employee who shows up a good employee... Feel your pain, makes for really long days, don't miss it.

Good morning fellow Pennsyltuckyvanians and welcome to another edition of Back To Work.....for those of you who still do. People always told me that some day I'd wake up and realize how fast life passes by...and they were right. It took me until I was 46 and somehow beat death at least twice in the Pentagon on 9/11 to realize what was truly important in life. As good as my first 46 years were, these last 20 have been totally awesome.

As an entry level labor employer you are unfortunately backed into the corner counting on people who will probably be there.

The cold fact is that nobody wants to work labor jobs to begin with -- and young folks are funny, many seem to feel showing up should get them an office. We had a kid walk out saying "I don't get paid to sweep".
So thankful that is behind me now.

So we start production at 16.30 now.. top rate for cutting cows apart is like 22.50..

Also I'm normally crewed with 6 people, today I have 3!

 

We have new neighbors. They came equipped with a 4Runner and a Tacoma TRDPRO. What are the chances they will come out to shred?
