We rented a cabin last year for Christmas in the mountains, was my best Christmas ever. Just got off a facetime chat with my wife and I'm pretty sure we just rented another one for this year at Christmas :D

I second the Outer Banks option. Nice family fun.
Think the wife and i are gonna take some rides on The Great Smokey Mountain Railway. They offer "adults only " trips. Food, beer and scenic views.

That sounds like a great plan! I have a DVR recording of greatest railroad trips or something, it was a special on vacation destination or something. Travel channel maybe.

I may have to check that out, I've always wanted to ride a train through the mountains. Would have to be something with the kids though.

The down side to quoting jobs you can`t come close to getting done someone promises a 2 week turn around time so all the well paying customers jobs get stopped.

To rush a new customers estimate through and there it stalls no response to emails or phone calls 3 weeks later your now at 5 weeks it is now an emergency and the Customer is bitching about the promised 2 week turn around time.

Now it never fails Parts on back order from the manufacture open end receiving time.

Drives me nuts when a customer has to have something, we make it quick and it sits on the table for 1-2 weeks :annoyed:

To this day I never saw a woman get out of a Bra so fast and the outer clothing .

One spark was all it took .

Don`t wear a Bra while welding I support this rule.

I do know a welder dropped a hot puddle of slag on his crotch His Girl friend swears He was doing Bimbos and Caught something from the aftermath. No matter what it is going to hurt till things heal.

I only ever had one real Vacation when I was a Kid

Lets just say Frugal would have been a big upgrade the worst was getting Fleas taking a Bath in Ice cold Lake water was chilling to say the least.

I traveled lots for work So I can`t call an hour here and there a vacation .

If Not for the China Flu I would like to Take a Trip through the Mountain West though It would sadden me to see how built up things got.
Start in Texas and work North to Montana .

I've been burnt so many times welding/torching/grinding but the one that sticks out the most......I was welding on the exhaust on the Jeep I put the 350 in, laying on a creeper and I was trying to fill a hole with the mig welder, a glob fell off and right into my belly button, my first reaction was to roll off the creeper. All that did was send that hot glob rolling across my stomach. It took a while to heal.

The other ones I remember are in my ears. The sizzle and burn sucks.

I saw my dad numerous times cut something with the torch, put a welding glove on one hand then pick it up with the hand with no glove

New carb is on, makeshift gas tank. Got to figure out why the starter button isn’t working. New solenoid is on and it still doesn’t work. It runs though :D

One side cut, now to smooth it off with bobcat tiger paw. This type of flap wheel one of my favorites sometimes for knocking off sharp edges.20210315_110541.jpg

Machine sounds good Creed! That's a huge step. You'll figure out the start button.

    Well, that was simple :D

Started wiggling plugs/connectors while holding starter switch in. Turns out it was one of these below the handlebars :bananadance:
