I did the install also (Scott B provided a lot of guidance - here) and those temps seem a bit higher than what I have seen on my truck. Mine averages at least 10 degrees cooler than what you are seeing on both city and highway driving.

Waiting for the rain and doing some inside work. Oil change, diff fluids, greasing zircs and upper control arms, etc, etc. Might park it in the rain to get a free wash job!

Scott B noted that after 220 you start to get break down in the fluids ability to protect the engine. I would want a bit more leeway. Before my mod I was pushing the limits when towing my trailer on some of my trips out west, particularly during hotter weather.

yea i saw that, mine was getting above that regularly when i didn't have one offloading. Now its running about 30* cooler overall after cooler install so thats why i said it should be about 190-200* Wasnt really worried since my trans fluid is OEM and brand new. Should be fine now but i will monitor on this next trip and add another small one if needed.

Looking at pressure washers... I miss the old days when you'd just go to the shop, buy the one in front of you then use it. Now it seems we research the crap out of everything before buying it.
