I used a surface conditioning disc and got all that gunk off. Make sure to plug the intake manifold holes before you go to down flinging dust and particles everywhere.

Has anyone here tried putting Teflon tape between the sleeve and bushings?

My Kings came with a big punch for adjusting the collar, not a spanner wrench like the Icons use.

Looks like this except mine doesn't have the T handle.

The Allen bolt is probably just a little stuck, as long you're turning it the right way to loosen it, just keep going until it breaks loose. Make sure the Allen key is all the way in and it's free of any dirt/grime so you don't strip it.

I've always been able to adjust my Kings with them still on the truck, getting around the UCA can be a little tricky but I haven't had any issue with it. I think it might depend on your UCAs though.

Good to know. When I bought the kings, King wanted $90 for a spanner!!
The FOX version was $40 and it “looked” the same, but I suppose it’s not

S’up Mang!? If i slam jam it at speed it bottoms out and bows my fender out straight up from center, you can also see that little humdinger just behind center where the fender buckled. Because those Fabtech lift spindles push the wheels outward that 2-3” you reffered to awhile back, but its not a racetruck so i wont be doing that again. Then,it rubbed at the fender trim,so i measured the clearance at the bottom right end (toward the front) where the fender meets the plastic. Then i dotted it with a sharpie for a reference, looked at it,eyeballed in the line to match the angle that the fender starts coming down at,inked it in for a final line i was happy with, and trimmed it off with my tin snips. There was a limit to how far away from the tire i could go because of the bumper/inner fender mounting hard plastic doohicky. Then i trimmed some of the side out going forward too as you can see. I only did that so i can look in from the side without having to crawl under the front for whatever reason may come up. I may trim it all the way across the front and remount the license plate. To give it the illusion of more ground clearance.

    Das it mang likes this.

Im whooped but this afternoon i installed a OME kit on my truck. Coilovers in the front just swap in no problem. On the rear i got new brake line, shackles, leaf pack, and shocks. It was a pain in the dick to do by myself. I gained 4” in the front with 882 coils and i gained 3” in the rear but i had a stock leaf pack with an add a leaf. My wife said stop spending money I said no problem i just need some wheels and tires hahaha
