I’m talking about chopping off the end of the ADD plug, what I circled in the pic below, and running my wires directly from my DPDT switch to the cut wires on the ADD, no harnesses or plastic connectors

If you have that harness then no need to purchase it, splice directly to the switch.

I was transferring some of my parts from my A750E to my new A750F tranny bc the brackets and bolts are rusted. I broke the shifter linkage bolt. Shifter still works fine but is there a way to transfer my old bolt (bottom picture) to the new broken one (top pic)? Idk how the internals work. Worst case, I was gonna tack weld it, still shifts fine

It's the light green/black wire coming out of the harness, pin 3 of the ADD actuator

If you do tack weld it which I personally would not recommend, stuff a wet rag around the shaft behind the shift lever to keep the heat off the selector shaft seal .

Since we’re talking about switches, will this switch work? It only has 5 pins.

I wasn’t sure bc in this diagram that you posted awhile ago, seems like there is more

that won’t work, you need a DPDT switch, 6 terminals minimum. The other 4 are optional and are used for indicator light and illumination

Gotcha thanks. So the switch will have 3 positions, does that mean on (unlocked) and off are essentially the same thing? The last position would be on but locked
