    Sorry, just seeing this now.
I was working plowing all morning. Got the plow stuck ~6-8 times.

We ended up sticking traction boards under the front and literally picking the back up to get it off the snow on the belly

Not gonna quote anything, learn how to drive the vehicle as if it was the dumbest piece of equipment ever and relied upon driver input and skill. Otherwise, stay off the road.

There's is a pair of maxtrax in pile in the background that the bobcat just buried for me.......

I'm actually really glad the neighbor with the bob cat is clearing the mailboxes and helped a couple of people with their driveways. Now I have to keep an eye on this melting pile of snow.....Screenshot_20210315-164742.jpg

So for all you traction control nards how would you explain my turd Gen unsticking itself with traction control on VS me just spinning tires going no where with it off? Traction control has it's place and does a fantastic job in the right situation if you let it do it's thing.

Just happens to be that the right situation for it to be better isn't all the time...

I am not sorry, none of these nanny systems were ever needed not less than 25 years ago. Engine was connected to the transmission, that was connected to the transfer case, than a couple tubes and a few universal joints connected that to the front and rear diffs, no wires or sensors required, and that shit just simply worked as designed and without flaw aside from the idiot using the skinny peddle. And education was swift and merciless. Roast me.

I like how you think. You're right, the 1st gen has a complete lack of problems due to old school tech.:D
I'm fucking with you btw. But not so you would notice.

A long time ago, before some of you were born and learned to drive on whatever , and transferred thoughtlessly into the nanny generation of vehicles, there were public safety video's on how to drive in any adverse situation. I feel these commercials need to be brought back and the nanny systems taken away...Although I can't seem to find the favorites, these are kind of educational..

This has nothing to do with the topic, but i thought it was funny and offensive in today's society.

The Toyota of today is far lighter than those old lead sleds, but the physics still apply.
