So, I'll take the bait;

those chinese radios aren't exactly going to be what's listed in the manual, but do operate in the same way. I say this knowing that there have been many variations of the

$40 UV-5R 8Watt Ham Radio Handheld Long Range UHF/VHF Radio with 2 Rechargeable Battery, Portable Radio for Adults with Earpiece, GV-771 Antenna, Programming Cable (3rd Gen)

UV-5R not to mention few revisions in the manuals. This was mostly specific to their specs.

Now if they sent the wrong radio altogether, well that's different.

I never touched my manual and went straight to programming it. Same with the Mini T1 pair I have.

I might be wrong but I think this thread is likely the most continually active thread...there's probably a way to confirm that but I'm too lazy to figure it out. I've seen a lot of other active BS threads come and go but this one is pretty much always on the main page since it started 3ish ? years ago

I don't qualify as a single person, but where it gets tricky is the household income between joint filers. We filed jointly for 2020 but not in 2019. I don't remember what our joint amount was for 2020 but I think it's a little under the joint limit so...maybe? If it get it, awesome, if I don't...fuck all y'all that did

Well guess who just landed an interview for that NASA photo job at Edwards AFB

it's less than half my current salary. I accepted the interview but the more I think about it the more I think I'll just tell them I don't want to waste their time. I can't take that big of a pay cut or much of any pay cut really if we're still living in CA.
