One of our customers just came in the store. He’s in his early 70’s, weighed about 230 last time I saw him. Strong as an ox, worked for himself doing carpentry, siding, windows, whatever really.

About 8 months ago he found out he had cancer and he also had a stroke. He’s been taking chemo. First time I’ve seen him since all this.

I almost didn’t recognize him. He’s down to about 140 lbs and can’t move his left arm. He handed me his wallet to get money out. He said “here, I can’t get it out”.

So sad but he’s in good spirits. He was talking to our son like he always has.

Creed , i checked the trains website. They offer all kinds of family friendly train rides. The typical trip lasts 4 hours. They have special Easter , Halloween and Christmas tours. You also have the option of a diesel or steam locomotive. Most trips depart from Bryson City and go along the Nantahala River , turn around and come back.

Man i hate to hear that. My father in law had a section of his colon taken out about 2 years ago and now they think the cancer has spread to his liver. He goes to Wake Med tomorrow to start chemo.

Friend just sent me text with article talking about Toyota filing a name patent, Trailhunter. No specific details but the vehicle pictured with article looked like Renegade small SUV. Pffft

It saves a lot of gas for the torch! I bought this one at an auction 15-18 years ago, didn’t know if it worked or not and it has never let me down

This week only, stimulus special. I’m sure they’ll find you need new wheel bearings and a full brake job.
