    It was good for me too. Another long day on the range. One of my collateral duties at work is firearms instructor. We are conducting training classes for the agency as we transition over to red dot sights on all our pistols. I am the lead instructor on this evolution.

    I put a red dot on my Hellcat, left it on for a couple months and took it off. Couldn’t get used to it.

    They have a learning curve. If you haven’t been to a red dot specific training class it’s hard to really get comfortable with them. Also, some shooter, especially experienced iron sight shooters, just can’t seem to make the switch. I made sure we addressed that in policy, I’m not going to force them on everyone.
