Definitely not normal, probably a rear main seal. It's not an easy job from what I understand so I wouldn't be surprised if they try and weasel their way out of it.

Damn, Dave, that sucks. A bit of a drive, but the service department at Battlefield in Culpeper always treated me right with no BS.

Well, not really anything significant since I haven't had any major issues. I still wouldn't have hesitated to take my truck to them for any major items, though. Chris (@Casper66) recommended Robbie to me there.

Wow nice... I tried to get a frame for my '04 but Toyota said no dice. Did you have to fight for it?

no. I had just gotten Mobtown to weld on my sliders. Then went in on black friday to get inspected. I thought I had it under control - fluid film every year. But they got a hole. Then they told me to remove everything aftermarket - F&R bumpers, lift, bed rack, RTT, skids. Had to find stock wheels/tires, stock suspension, etc.

I wanted them to install parts with no labor, but they just got it done quickly, and got it back to me in 3 days. I was expecting 6 months. I guess that part is good.

ouch...well I guess it was a temporary PIA for a new frame. Never thought about having to remove aftermarket items for them to do the frame replacement...

because dealership doesnt know how to deal with aftermarket parts. I think I left my UCAs on there.

But yea, this was done in Jan 2019. First thing when I got it back.. CMC to fit my tires.

    Thanks for checking!!

Thanks man! Would be tough to justify the time to stop and install during the drive but I appreciate it!
