What was your favorite non truck Christmas present? It doesn't matter how lame is it. A pair of socks, sweater, tie, gloves? Or something a little more imaginative. I want to hear it all and I'm sure others do to.

    I'll go first.

    1. I got a remote control helicopter from my love. So much fun to harrass the dog and family members with.

    What's yours? I'm curious:cool:

Well, I got some gift cards and some cash. My parents are struggling to make ends meet, so I went overboard on buying a present for them. I bought them a new 32 inch sony bravia. They had a philips crt tv that crapped out on them years ago. it had nasty lines going across the top. It was good feeling seeing their reaction.

I got a pair of Atlas 1130 snowshoes and the first ascent gloves. They are by far the best gloves out there. 120$ but tested on Everest for all of my winter trecks and overnight stays on the mountain.

My oldest son got leave and came home Christmas eve to visit for two weeks. He is stationed at Elmendorf AFB in Alaska and was in the Middle East this summer. Great to have the whole family together for the holidays! Best present possible for my wife and I.

Got a few larger presents, but my favorite was probably the smallest.... a dog-tag with my wife's bridal picture on it to keep with me/on me during my deployment next year.

No hockey players on here? I got a sweet "Team Canada" 2010 Olympic hockey jersey. And I got a small winfall from the lottery on the 26th, so I went and picked up an Easton Synergy hockey stick in a 'half-off' sale today (regularly 200 bucks). Merry Christmas to me. :D
