In that case very little would fall into the safe to buy area if you give it thought.

    A thing or two...
I used to have access to a machine shop on campus. The guy that ran it would run a 2x4 against the jaws of the lathe. Then say "Don't bleed on my machines; it makes them rust".

This little 3” blade reversible cut IR grinder works great for fender tailoring, much more control than an electric angle grinder and no sparks in your face.

    Is the reversible feature useful?
My harbor freight one is dead and I'm between that Ingersoll Rand and a Husky one, only real difference between them is the IR is reversible.

i love it, you can get in certain spots where you don’t want the sparks to fly. IMO worth its weight in gold. Wish the electric ones had that feature.

That's an interesting feature. I have a grinder that I love, though it's not the most ergonomic. Has speed control and is sooo quiet.

So,,, moving a 56” USG Roller and stacking a top box by one man, one 2nd Gen Tacoma and two trips to HF is doable.

Just a couple of weeks for them to come in.

    482AD1AE-CAF4-4935-94CF-DBCE89495C33.jpg

    Edit: Some observations:
    • Remove your bed mat if you have one- you’ll want things to slide.
    • I saw a YT video of unpacking the bottom box and the mounting blocks slide right out when the guy jacket it up.
      • The mounting blocks on mine were stapled from underneath. I used a sledge when the box was raised to get them out.
    • Mounting screws came with the top box.
    • Both boxes had side handles.
    • A moving blanket worked great to slide the forward edge of the top box onto the bottom. No other stuff is needed.
    • The raised edge on top of the bottom box doesn’t ‘corral’ the top box.
      • The top box can slide past the edge of the bottom box- I didn’t test to see how far :D
      • You need to eyeball it to line up the 4 bolt holes.

just picked these 2 for 90 bucks.
Was at a restoration company down the street from my house. Sitting outside in a cart. Had 2 bigger ones. Definitely worth the money he was asking. I just didn’t have a need for something that big.

Also depends on your lawyer, the Judge and the Doctor. I got $10,000 for a 3rd degree full thickness burn with 7 puncture wounds.

Yep, I can confirm that...lol. I'm just happy it did not change my golf swing. Retired now.
    Thanks
    Zim

More important note: Make sure you know how everything works on what "your working on"!!!!!!!!! As I said below, you can't fix anything unless you know how it works. If I have known the air in the system would bleed off, I may have saved myself some pain and going through all that. Air over hydraulics is a complicated thing...lol

I really like the HF drawer organizers and I ordered some socket organizers on Amazon that match the colors of my tool box

But you didn't answer the most important question. Would you do it all again for the $10,000?

I am quite surprised you are allowed to use your camera phone and post publicly. Verboten when I worked at the rocket factory.

Cool vises and if that little torque wrench could talk!

With all due respect a couple vices and an out of cal torque wrench aren't exactly trade secrets. I would never post anything that I thought might be even close to the line. The Vab has high bays where flight hardware is processed and in those areas anything that isnt class 1 div 2 is strictly forbidden.
