    2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road
    Rev-Tek leveling kit, TRD exhaust, Toyo AT III Tires, Fuel Kicker 6 wheels, Factory TRD grill, LED lighting.
    On November 30, 2020, I ordered an AFE Cold Air Intake and Cat Back Exhaust direct from the manufacturer. You know, Black Friday Sales and such. I was told the exhaust was on back order until January 2021 and the CAI was on back order until February 2021. In December I cancelled the Cat Back Exhaust and went with a TRD Exhaust. I think it sounds better. February came and NO exhaust. I contacted (Or tried to. They send you to another extension so you can talk to someone and you get a recording. When you leave a message you don't get a return call) AFE to see what the status of my order was. I was told it would be ready by March 05, 2021. I called several times throughout March and was assured it would be shipped by March 05, 2021. I called on March 05, 2021 to find out if the item had been shipped since I did not receive an email and received a charge for the shipping fee. I WAS TOLD they should know the status of my order by the end of the day and send me an update. Sure enough, I received an email at the close of business that the shipping date had been changed to March 26, 2021. No apologies, no offer of an additional discount. Not sure if anyone else has had a similar problem with this company, but be ware. So far I am not pleased with AFE Power. They continue to advertise and sell items that you pay for and they are out of stock on, with no care at all.

    Your money is your money. If it was me...id cancel and move on. Your money is better spent else where.

    The pandemic is the cause and possibly the excuse for late / delayed shipments. If it's any consolation it's happening to all of us.
    I ordered a SnugTop camper shell on January 04, 2021. Today is March 05 and NO shell. I was told by the dealer it would take six weeks due to pandemic. We're now over 8 weeks out.
    My vendor is going to check with the manufacturer on Monday. So far the vendor is communicative so I'm expecting a timely response by Tuesday.

    Seems like a good move to me. Better sound, good fit and finish.

    Meh. Just a noise maker anyway; truck is already CAI equipped. If you're looking to spark up the underhood, cancel this and get the matching TRD for this too.

    Off topic but I ordered a new couch in December which was supposed to ready mid-March (now)-- called to confirm delivery this week, now they say they will try to get it to me by early May! Very frustrating for us all.

    Long delay + postpone + billing your CC = cancel order

    Business has changed in the last year.

    If you can't put your hands on it, then don't buy it.

    Orders result in the supplier having cash, then able to delay processing order, allowing short term investments...................

    My point exactly! What's frustrating with this company is they never told me it was going to be delayed past February. I found out about the delay when they charged me for shipping in February, which led me to believe it was going to be delivered. When I did not get it by mid February, I called to see where it was and that's when I was told it would be March 5th, which turned into March 26th. When you call AFE Power, they pass you to a voice mail, you leave a message and they do not call back. On March 8th I sent them an email, asking to be compensated, You know waive the shipping fee or something, due to the delay. They acknowledged the email that day and said someone would be in contact with me. Here we are, a week later and still haven't heard from anyone. Lesson learned, Ask if it's in stock before you order. I had a great experience with Meso Customs. I went to order some turn signal lights on line and they informed me they were out of stock, but if I was interested, send an email and they would let me know when they have them in stock. Pretty cool..................., they didn't take my money and put me on F.U. forever. About two weeks later, I received an email, ordered the lights and had them within a week. That's customer service. AFE Power should take note.

    Funny. I've subscribed to email updates from meso more time than I can count and have gotten 0 emails from them for in-stock items.

    Going on 3 years now still no instock notifications from meso

    If you put the order on a CC, then you can call the supplier to cancel the order and call the CC to dispute the charge.


    The CC will get involved to make sure the $$ are not transferred to the supplier and you are not billed.

    No fooling I'am in the same boat as you with the couch. LOL, Only I ordered mine in mid oct. Called to cancel and they ask would we not cancel if they took $200.00 off >>> I said well I GUESS. Try it !!!! good luck

    While I get it, vendors have also had a year to get their act together. My industry certainly had to. If a vendor can't deliver, cancel or chargeback and move on.
