What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Those are the same ones I have! They look great and are much brighter than stock. I know the quality is nothing compared to the Meso signals, but these will definitely do the job - at least until the Meso V5 signals are released...

 

Awesome!! I actually think they seem pretty high quality. Unfortunately all LED strips have the ability to go out. The new Meso V5s are going to have many more features than these, but this is all I needed

I got these based on positive reviews. I think they look awesome

 

I hardly ever carry super heavy stuff in the bed so I would guess it’s from wheeling a lot on these springs, I thing it’s pretty normal for the Tacoma’s. I know most do it unless they have a crazy thick leaf pack.

 

What rims are on that bad boy?

 

Ordered my AMP research steps and then they were damaged when I got them. I sent them back and then they sent new ones so the carrier calls me and says you need to be home Monday-Friday to sign for these . I said I work I can't do that and they said they are sending them back. I contact the merchant and his response is "I paid 150 to have those sent to you you should have had them delivered to your work or had them held for you". I work in a hospital so that's not gonna happen delivered to my work and Im not going to pick it up as I am busy. SO, charge disputed as I never received my product and that pissed me off that I am supposed to go out of my way after spending 1300 for a product.SO no AMP steps for me

 

Just received my 12bucks light pod bracket.
At 1/4 inch thick it will not flex.

the powder coating is not as good, probably need repaint before install.

That sucks! Sorry to hear that. I had AMP Steps for my old F250 and they were great.

 

Yeah it’s Just this particular distributor. I can prob get them somewhere else. I had electric steps on my f150 and loved them. But now I’m like meh Idc lol

 

Let us know how well they hold up with the light mounted. I would be interested to see if they bounce too much.

I doubt it will bounce with this thickness bracket.

 

I've always thought these things look weird on the back window of the access cab. You can't open the window, it serves no purpose. Why destroy more of your paint with the stick on kind when you don't need to?

 

I just ordered the same from Amazon. Do you think getting them sprayed with Line-X would do the job?

Line-x is going to be much better than what I’m going to use. I already have some black spray paint, I’m just going to used that and maybe two coats.

As long as paint cover the bare metal it’s should not rust.
