    Hey Mate!
Great setup, albeit all my suggestions will be biased. Take a minute, and watch this video and see what you think!

Nice looking Aliner! I pull a scout lite with my Taco. The liberty works great for my aframe and 21 foot boat. I think the main difference between the two is the pro can control up to 3 axles and has programmable functions, but don’t quote me on that.

Like you said, one of the main differences is the Elite can control up to 3 axles vs 2 with the Liberty. The biggest for me would be the two modes proportional, and off-road mode. In addition to some aesthetic features.

So does the Redarc have a plug and play cable for the Tacoma? I see on their website that the harness works with the 4-Runner. Is the Tacoma and 4-Runner setups the same? Basically I'm trying to figure out all the pieces I need to buy to install in my 21 Tacoma.

I bought the Liberty, Tacoma harness, and blank this morning for $162.47. I have seen people install this without the switch blank, so I don’t think that’s strictly necessary if you’re okay with drilling.

This is correct. Removing the dash is not fun on a new car as the plastic is stiff but everything should pop out as long as you are careful. I only had to remove the “chubby” but I have seen others remove the entire lower trim from the dash.

Heck, I wouldn’t worry about a brake controller with that weight! Unless you do some rock crawling.
Let me retract my statement. If it has brakes, I would because I could.

Heck my boat, and trailer are around 2k lbs+, or so, and i haven't the need to use a controller with the brakes this tacoma already has. I guess if i towed in the winter on icy roads it'd be nice but i don't.

I agree with use it because you can. My pop up camper has trailer brakes and is well under the 3000 pounds federal requirement for trailer brakes. I always use them. My first Camper didn't have them. I can tell you if you get in a situation where you need to stop quick it's much better with than with out.

@REDARC_Ryan , will the TPSI-007 switch blank work for the liberty, or just the elite? i would like to put this on the left side of my steering wheel, and use the thinner taller blank because, I am assuming the
TPSI-002 blank is the shorter wider blank. installing into a 2019 Tacoma Sport 4x4.

just making sure I am ordering the correct stuff. my cart has

    EBRH-ACCNA liberty unit
    TPH-015 wiring harness
    TPSI-007 switch blank

Is this all I need, or do i need a different combo? thank you in advance. Ski

It's also great to have in less than ideal road conditions to either anchor the vehicle to slow it down, shorten braking distance, and or correct sway.

Yes, the switch blanks will work the liberty as well! Your cart looks perfect, thanks for thinking of REDARC!

The TPSI-002 is the blocky stubby switch vs, 007 is the oblong slimmer extended switch blank.

Correct, the switch plates are not mandatory but just allow for cleaner install look, and feel. If you're drilling into an interior panel instead it may increase thickness beyond the tolerance of the knob and not be useable anyway.
