Well, call me wishy-washy and indecisive, but after giving a good look at other alternatives I took this second sale as a sign. I'm back on board because the price just seems worth it. After giving other options a thorough look, this kit is priced surprisingly competitive. I thought by stepping down to bilsteins, AP leafs, and JBA ucas there would be a good difference, but I'd only save about $150 bucks. The fact that these are adjustable, rebuildable, and 2.5" thick all around make them well worth the difference. Not to mention these aren't on national permanent backorder like many other brands :D

    @Jojee117 Welcome Back. Haha.
Totally agree, they seem to be regularly replenishing stock! Free shipping and the freebies don't hurt either!
I think you mentioned ordering the Constant load leaf springs and pulling a couple out, if you take that approach, I'd definitely recommend taking the time to prep and re-coat each leaf as well as adding a bit of grease at any contact points. Seems like a pain, but if you're already pulling them apart, I think its time well spent. (Wish I'd have done it!) My leafs and hardware rusted within the first month.
I have not had any problems with the UCAs aside from removing the UCA bolt. I'd also order the fronts preassembled if I were to do it over. May as well order their spanner wrench while you're at it. Good luck and keep the thread updated as you move forward!

I actually opted to go with the performance leafs this go round, but I do plan on trying to treat them asap. Do the coilovers not come preassembled? I was under the impression that they did, my brother ordered a kit for his Subaru on the last sale, and his came assembled. I didn't even see an option for assembly on the page.

Maybe they've removed that option since I ordered? With them being adjustable, there's really no reason not to get them assembled.

Screenshot_20210315-225334_Email.jpg :notsure: that doesn't show up on mine, and it's not an option when ordering. And they're out of stock on spanners. I assume others will work, it can't be proprietary can it? The ones in the product links below should be fine I would think.

I bought the 80-90 hook wrench. It worked, but wasn't perfect. Lemme know if you're gonna buy the 80-90 from Amazon. We can work out a deal and save you a couple bucks. I don't need it anymore. PM if interested.

In the end, I still think this is a great kit compared to what else is out there. I’ve read about noises and rust on every brand. Hopefully you will be lucky and get a set that doesn’t have those issues. They are certainly out there.

Yeah, I kind of figure you roll the dice on that with any brand and you get a lot for what you pay. Plus if it gets real bad, these have a solid warranty and good customer service to back them up.

I’d agree! Plus, it sounds like your going into it with realist expectations. Good luck!

I know this is about the foam cell kit, but anyone have experience with the nitro stage 1 kit? Went with the nitro's due to the fact that the foams were oos.

$1100 with the discount code...seriously such a good deal.

There are a few people with the nitro kits, @oakcity has them on his 2nd Gen but I’ve not seen him post in a while.

Welcome back and good luck. I treated my leaf packs with Woolwax so have not noticed any issues.
Overall I still think it’s a great kit.
Not sure how prepared you like to be but I ended up needing a 3° axle shim, the carrier bearing spacer and used 2 of the oem u bolt spacers along with longer bolts on the carrier bearing to get rid of some vibration. I will say that the vibrations can be a result of any lift, not just IM. I also did the ECGS bushing. I felt my luck would have had me replacing the needle bearing soon after the lift.

I already did the ecgs swap when I needed to replace a diff seal, and I have a 1 piece drive shaft, so hopefully it won't be an issue. I do plan on getting u bolts for a flip though, as I have timbrens waiting to be installed. I will have to pick up some woolwax though. Thanks for the heads up.

Did you just spray the woolwax on?

Already on top of everything. I don’t think I can offer anything else... besides the rear shocks only fit one way. I’m not sure why, but if your putting one in and the bottom bolt hole does not line up spin the strut 180° and try. The stickers on them might end up facing in.

Yea, and I did try and spray in between the leaves some. I was already doing the entire undercarriage, prepping for winter. I will saw that the center bolt head was showing some rust so I’m gonna spray in there at some point. Here’s a few pics from when I put the shims in.

That might be for the better haha. As I recall somebody else saying early on in this thread, I'm not a huge fan of having the hulk on my shocks. And that green, why? Maybe on other color trucks, but with blue I think green is the worst color to pair it with lol. I'll probably get some coilover sleeves for protection eventually anyways. How much woolwax did you end up needing for the springs?

Luckily the green and black looks pretty good. But that does not work for everyone. A coil over sleeve is not a bad idea either... you could have a white truck, green coils and JBD red uppers... they can remind people of Christmas or the Italian (and other) flags.

I used 2.5 or so cans for the entire undercarriage. You’d probably be more than ok with one. I also got it in black.

edit- there is a coupon code somewhere on this site (maybe just TW for the code from )for them or follow them on Facebook. https://www.kellsportproducts.com/

What do you mean by not perfect? Was the curvature a little off, or was it giving you trouble? I would PM, but this could be useful info to others. Ironman's wrench is out of stock, and if it doesn't come back by the time my kit ships I'll take you up on your offer.
