I saw a Crosstrek like yours in a parking lot a few years ago but I don't think it was a Limited. It seemed to have a lift kit and it had aftermarket rims that looked similar to yours; I snapped a picture of it with my phone from my truck and left...

Not even a minute later, this idiot runs out into the street (I almost HIT HIM) frantically waving and yelling at me to stop; Purely out of reflex, I slammed on the brakes; I had the passenger window cracked and asked him what his problem was. He asked me why I was taking pictures of his car (the aforementioned Crosstrek); I was thinking "Seriously, dude?" but I told that I'd never seen a lifted Crosstrek on off-road tires before and thought it looked cool. He was immediately fine with it and walked away; Looking back on it, I should have just driven around him and kept going...

Trying to find pictures of it now!

Found pictures! Does not appear to be lifted though...

I took these back in February 2018!

Mine has no lift either. Just the 15" Method wheels and the tires are only slightly taller than the stock 17" tires. Love the way it handles in the snow. Like most people's opinions, I just wish it wasn't so under powered.

I had a 97 Outback and it was probably my favorite vehicle out of all I’ve ever owned. I had to get rid of it when I couldn’t drive a stick shift anymore after my third knee surgery

I had the honor of driving a 2019 Crosstrek with a manual transmission when I was detailing cars at a dealership, and it was even an orange one! The way it worked was on Saturdays was they would put three cars in the wash bay on Friday night that were being picked up by their new owners on Saturday morning; My supervisor knew how much I loved Crosstreks, so he assigned me that one! He did not realize it was a stick shift, and while I was competent at driving a manual it was generally left up to employees more experienced in the art of third pedal to move manual vehicles. I impressed my supervisor by nor stalling it even once!

You think they’re underpowered? I’ve been driving a 4-banger/slushbox Tacoma for over a decade, so maybe a Crosstrek doesn’t feel underpowered to me for this reason? Trust me, I worked there less than a year but I probably drove more than half a dozen Crosstreks...

So it was a Legacy or an Impreza Outback? Stick shift Imprezas are still fairly common, but I rarely see stick shift Legacies!

It was a Legacy. When I bought it, it had regular Legacy struts and was tearing up the tires. Once I put the correct struts on and essentially lifted it back to where it should have been it was great. That thing was amazing on snow and icy roads

So is this a Rant/Rave thread or just a Picture/Sighting thread? The title vs posts is confusing.

My rant about my old Subie was changing the spark plugs. Holy crap. I figured it’s a 4 banger, it would be so easy. 1-1/2 hours later I was finally done

Oh for sure....some of them are very tight!!!

But I'm just confused as to what this thread is about. Is it about just posting sighting pictures or cars just pulled off of google as filler posts or for people that are owners that have something to rant or rave about?
