No spacers here.. I'm running a size larger than stock and only scrub slightly at full turn. You should be fine, depending on the tire size you go with.

I was rocking the 2018 4Runner trail wheels before I got the methods installed last month. fit well and had no issues.

I’m looking into buying 2019 T4R SR5 wheels for my ‘08 Taco. I don’t want tpms lite on the dash.

Dealer tells me I need 2019 T4R sensors, but then I read that they won’t sync with an older ‘08.

Someone please confirm what they did and how it worked with the tpms system.

    Thanks!

You'll need the sensors for your truck, not the T4R. The dealer is an idiot.

Thanks for your help. Something didn’t ring true when he started talking about the tpms valve angle.

What tire size are you running? Tire Rack says 265/65 doesn’t have enough sidewall. They recommend 245/70’s.

interesting... That’s about .6” larger overall diameter that oem spec. Getting no scrubbing or contact on turn to lock?

It’d smarter me to post a thread wide question rather than individually. So anyone who wants to reply, please do.
    For now I’ll ask directly...
What size tires are you running?

The day I installed them, a brand new 4Runner was the donor. My friend works at a Toyota dealership and the 4Runner owner said he could have them after swapping on new wheels and tires. I got the wheels and tires for $400. Sharp wheels. If I ever step up to a 3rd or 4th gen I think I’ll keep them. Do you think the 4th generation Tacoma will offer a manual transmission? Nissan bailed on the manual for the 2022 Frontier, Ram dropped the manual for the Cummins 3/4 ton, Chevy and Ford don’t offer a manual in their midsize once you go 4x4. Jeep has the Gladiator but no thanks. Please Toyota.
