    That's what I would do. It's simply grounding a wire. My 2018 Sport M6 doesn't have tpms and I'm fine with it (Canada). You could end up spending lots of cash on chasing tpms sensors that the batteries are at the end of their lives.

    My light has been on for 4 years (tpms sold with original wheels). Generally if there is something wrong with your tires the truck is not going to drive straight. Check them with a gauge once in a while and ignore the light.

    Yeah--for me, for those aforementioned 50+ years; "TPMS" consisted of looking at the tires before I drove the car/truck and checking the pressure every couple weeks or so...

    Ditto that. I forget exactly where I read it but awhile back someone referenced not willing to put their wife or kid's lives at jeopardy by doing so, one of the few times I said out loud "I weep for the future" lol.

    Sorry I know this an old thread. But for what these suckers cost I would say screw it. But my question is. Here in Arizona we go through vehicle emissions and they hook up a computer to the on board diagnostic system. If they read a problem with one or more of the sensors will they not pass you ? Any one here in Arizona have this happen to them ?

    To the best of my knowledge the TPMS is a standalone system, not integrated into the P1000 systems integrity test...

    I dont thinkl TPMS is on the OBD whatever, That said any yellow light on the dash will spook a tard working there,

    Yeah if they see a light on in the dash they do spook. That's the reason I'm asking. I am looking that the thread to disable the system altogether.

    Your still going to have to program them using Techstream.

    You can get a copy of Techstream to run off your laptop and buy a OBD2 adapter for cheap if you dont want to visit the dealer.
