One of the best college football experiences ever! MU conquers the sooners. Cutting up the goal posts at Harpo's. And yet my taco is still on my mind. :)

i'll be honest, when OU returned it to our 15 i was nervous. too many times we have lost games in similar fashion. i guess just our time.

i have a close friend who is OU fan and he said this MU team reminds him a lot of 2000 sooner team. big game in lincoln next week.

Probably not, since Derrell Johnson-Koulianos can't keep clean. That's a huge hit to your offense.

Ahh, i know. DJK and Adam Robinson are both out for this game. The way we were looking towards the end of the season, I am kinda nervous about this game. At the same time, Ferentz is an awesome coach and Norm Parker has to be one of the best defensive coordinators in the NCAA. Look at what we did to GA Techs explosive triple option last year in the Orange Bowl... 156 total yards. We will see what happens. The biggest factor is going to be what kind of offense Mizzou runs, because I honestly dont know. If they run a no huddle, I would say were pretty much screwed.

I would expect no-huddle, since that's been Mizzou's primary offensive gameplan since Pinkel arrived.

Basically all-shotgun, 4-and-5-wide sets with motion. The no-huddle isn't a true no-huddle where they're running to the line to get the next play off. They generally start in the same formation, then the play is called from the sidelines. After which, there's usually motion to create matchups based on what looks the defense has given them previously.

Iowa's defense has been awesome, though. And I expect it to be a good matchup. I think Mizzou's defense has been underrated this season (although those couple of shitty outings maybe justified that a little) and so that'll be the wild card to me. If Mizzou's linebackers play bad, the whole defense plays bad.

That Nebraska game was hard to watch.

I dont know man. For having "one of the best DL's in the country", I have been really disappointed with our defense. With a quick no huddle offense they are going to beat up on us. Clayborn and Ballard are always caught on the sidelines on big third down plays gasping for air against that kind of offense. The conditioning of our team is terrible. We will see what happens. I'm prayin we can make some magic happen with all of our losses. Gameday tomorrow baby!

Iowa will do a good job defending our passing attack as well, great secondary. 18th in the nation for pass defense

I agree. Im not gonna say it was a catch, but there wasnt conclusive evidence to overturn it. D-line looked terrible like I predicted. Secondary was obviously asleep throughout the game. Who knew the player I bashed would come up with the game winning pick 6. I must say though, this is the first time I watched Mizzou play, and that QB is dirty. So are all of your WR's. So many awesome catches, it was an entertaining game to watch. Shocked by Coker! Started the season at #4 on the depth chart at RB as a true freshman and ran for 219 yds and 2 TD's. Hell of a game.

yeah great passing game, but if they don't pull their heads out next year and beef up the running game=going NO WHERE!
WTF was up with Pinkel letting 35 secs. run off the clock and not using timeouts. oh well, wouldn't have mattered anyway. badass game for sure and major props to Coker and Micah with the 72yd int return.

Its an alright resort, owned by starwood which has places around the world so that could be why they would say something like that but congrats to your Hawkeyes. I will say, they were nice group to deal with and very appreciative which there isn't more you can ask for when working at a resort
