Since you have LED fogs you can probably sell them and buy Morimoto amber fogs for very little out of pocket. I paid $145 with a discount code for a new set a couple years ago. Retail is $170.

    Just wow. Extra special.

You should change the entire assembly. Amber films over 6000k light sources will just result in green output. Checkout the thread below for SAE fogs, and note specifically the Diode Dynamics SS3s linked at the top. Sounds like you want their selective yellow fogs:

Well first post for me on here. Been following for a long time and wanting to do the upgrade to the 2020+ LED conversion. Any discounts out there for the OEM Parts Source?

Not anything special that I've seen for these. Usually there are some decent 4th of July shipping deals, just a lower % off shipping.

Green connector goes to the red guy, beige to the white + black.
Green connector is H11 (low beams) with 1 tab/nub, white connector is H9 (high beams) with 2 tabs/nubs.
Mike's harness has low beam male input as red with no ground and high beam male input as white and black for ground.
The grounds need to match up orientation-wise so you want OEM blue to Mike's red and OEM yellow to solid white, OEM white w black stripe to Mike's black.

    EDIT: Fixed some typos
Also: Compare to driver's side where it should be a perfect color match (aside from OEM white/black to Mike's solid black) and repeat on passenger side where the colors of the positive leads are different.

That looks correct to me, yes. Test and confirm all is working properly. It should not be possible to damage anything if you have polarity or high/low swapped.

High beams emitters are medial (to the midline), low beams are lateral (to the fenders).

OK, dude, this is going to kill me if you don't swap the two sides. Looks like the harness you have is perfectly color-matched all the way around, you just need to swap driver and passenger pieces. Then all the colors should line up perfectly.

On the passenger side you did blue to red and yellow to white. On this side, see how you'd be doing red to blue and white to yellow?

It'll work fine but oh man that would just kill me to not match the colors :)

Do these lights need to be aimed? Or are they good out of the box? Just ordered some

Mine needed to be adjusted a bit. I would think most all headlights would need to be aimed when replaced with new ones?

Oh wanted to follow up on this one too.
If this is the alpharex OEM style, then I think those reflections come from the trim piece that divides the low beam and high beam. On OEM, it is matte grey with the inner part in a gloss black. For Alpharex, it is all reflective chrome, and would also explain why the odd reflection is closer to the center of entire beam pattern.

I would believe so. I know I had to adjust mine by a lot, out of the box it was practically aiming at the ground.

AlphaRex is also just relabeled low quality Chinese Vland products, which has a reputation for producing good looking products that perform like hot garbage. You are not buying 'AlphaRex' you are buying Chinese 'Vland', sold at a stupid domestic premium to people that don't know better under another label. Case and point.

Haha. In all honesty I knew they were shit output, cuase someone I know bought them before me. just wanted the "look". There's didn't have the reflection problem like mine did. I would've lived with them if not for that. But then that $600 stim check came in. So I said F it.
