Unfortunately, with the EPA dick slapping that occured over the past few years, I'm not deleting. There's no reason for any tuner to stand behind their work and the risks are too high to deal with out of pocket. Honestly, if I start having emissions issues, it's still under warranty so Ford can fix it, then I'd dump it and go back with a gasser. I don't want to do that, but I'm also not going to deal with that noise.

That EGR looks nasty. Was it out of a truck that idles a lot? I also did the catch can so I'm hoping that helps since I won't be putting oil residue into the system anymore. How old of a truck was it?

Jun 11-13 anyone up for a southern New England camping trip? IE down in Arcadia, RI I think has some camping spots, maybe CT/central MA? I'm hitting VT the week after that, and potentially Canada over memorial day weekend so wanting to do something a bit closer to home. @mach1man001 @Unorgnl-V I don't know off the top of my head who else is in RI/blackstone area.

If I get some people I can start looking for spots.

Burlingame has a campground. Put me down as tentative, I also have a local group on FB I can poll depending on how many people you're thinking of having.

Noreast Yotas? I'm in that one too

I've only organized small groups before 2-3 trucks at the most in places I know, I'm not super experienced with this. I’m down for whatever happens though.

Yeah, I admin the group and help hold most of the convoys and meets organized. In reality I hate being responsible for keeping track of so many people though.

That is out of a 2014 with 72k on it. I'd assume it idles a lot, but it also hauls equipment a lot as well.

You can always just keep trading your equity into other trucks :notsure: A diesel truck is never going to be a terrible investment. They hold their value, just jump up a few years at a time.. Win win.

The CCV mod helps I'm sure, though most of that buildup is soot honestly. I can't wait til they decide to regen the EGR systems lmao.

I love how it looks and all those other things are fine.

it would be my cruiser, keep a real truck on hand for towing and such.

Edit: it’s all about the looks, and I have 45mph speed limits as the top speed within 40 mins of where I live basically

Fair enough, can't argue that. I do agree, it looks pretty rugged, the ho-hum specs sort of threw me off. I like the looks of the Bollinger and the Atlis EV trucks. I doubt the Bollinger will make it to market looking the way it does, it looks like a 3 year old is running the aerodynamic department but I love the look. The Atlis looks pretty decent and is supposed to be a full sized truck with a really nice range. I still don't want one yet, unless I become independently wealthy and snag one for a commuter.

I think this one is a smaller looking truck, I love old 80/90s era trucks and this does it for me. I’ve taken a liking to smaller vehicles, let the wife drive the big stuff. The ho hum specs also signal at affordable too I’m hoping.

They’ve been teasing us with all these different models yet no one will build one! Best selling segment in the USA and no one wants to play for real. Almost like it’s on purpose if you think about it :annoyed:

Here's the thing, pickups are a huge selling market in the US, how many of the people who currently drive them do you think would actually trade theirs in for an EV if one hit the market tomorrow? I'm sure quite a few would, but I'd bet the majority of commercial buyers wouldn't and there are a lot of people who just want their good ole rusty trusty V8. Even with the 150, there are a lot of people who still would not own an ecoboost just because it's a 6 cylinder. We'll get there, we're going to have to, just not yet...

I don’t care about electric either way, I just like how some of the trucks look. You’ll never (at least not for a very long time) replace the big motors for towing and heavy duty stuff. There are applications maybe, but not for the general public I agree.

2 seater vehicles even a truck has a higher insurance band since they’re seen as sports cars. The number of seats matters which is why muscle cars and “real” sports cars have those dinky useless rear seats that’s are super easy to remove.

I could be wrong. But yeah insurance might not be pretty.

doesn’t fit for me right now - wife’s car is the people mover my truck is my daily and adventure vehicle, it just doesn’t have a spot for us - until we get way more charging stations and way more range.

Sounds like fun! I can't commit now though, I'd have to look into my work schedule. Besides work the 11th is my birthday and my wife loves to celebrate big on b-days so I'd have to talk to her as well! Lol

Yeah leading a group can be stressful! I do them. Even if the group is cool the stress can be difficult at times. I did the waterfall tour a couple of years ago. That was a big one! Even though the group was great I was putting a lot of stress on myself just because I wanted everyone to have a good time.

That would do it..sorry to hear

That's okay, my Chevy truck blew the head at 70< and was still under the powertrain warranty plus the secret warranty and they still fucked me, so there's that for consistently fucking the customer at least.

You don't have to tell me twice lol. Remember that debacle of the 2019 toys for tots with 26+ trucks and a maze of randomly closed gates at the Rhode Island spot.....yeah that was my horrible day...lol.
