    Got tint done today, Xpel XR Ceramic 30% all around and a windshield strip. Looks really good and was not bad driving it in the overcast/rain.
    I’ll get a better picture when the suns out.

    Can you tell if the wind deflector is needed for the actual install of the light bar? I may be mistaken but I don’t think it plays a part in mounting the lights, just has a cutout.

    How much did that run you? Would you recommend the shop you went to? There's no cost difference with the tint percentage right?

    The shop looked good and was professional but I don’t want to recommend it till I see the tint in the sunlight. It looked good but I didn’t check it all out really well since it was overcast and raining.
    @RobP62 recommended them to me and it was 400 for the 4 doors, rear window and windshield strip. They said no difference in price for %. I got the same all around but the strip is much darker.
    I will say while it was definitely darker in the cab, my view of the outside didn’t seem impacted. I think the 30% is going to work really well. They had 42% and 30% in the ceramic.

    There shouldn't be a cost difference in tint percentage. Also, if you're in the anne arundel area I recommend tintMD in Annapolis.

    Thats not a bad plan. I was a little concerned about going lower than MD limit but at 5% difference I doubt it will ever be an issue. Though it might look darker on the black truck.

    I went 20% all around and since the rear windows are smoked, it’s about 5% in the rear.

    I used Prestige MD in Annapolis and they did an excellent job on my Lexus. $200 for 35% tint standard products, or $400 for the ceramic. Took them like 2 hours for my whole car
