Some states you’re not allowed to dangle stuff off your mirror, Sight hazard. Arizona I think.

No need for "stink killer" if the truck does not stink in the first place. What all these "air fresheners" do is adding a stronger stink, to the air, so you don't smell the original stuff.

The whole idea of the fresh air in the truck, is to not have the stink in the first place. Make sure you AC evaporator is clean from all dead leafs and bugs, get a good steam cleaning to you upholstery, especially the driver sit, as it is used most often, and for God sake, stop farting in the car. Every fart into your sit sprays a micro particles of shit into the cushion, and they stay there for a very, very long time. How do I know? You don't want these details :D

I used to smoke in my truck but then quit and kept the cigarette smell in my truck. Took it to a detailing place and their Ozone machine took care of it in one night.

“new car smell” air fresheners always crack me up because new car smell is just all of the plastics off gassing and releasing volatile organic compounds (aka toxic fumes)

That foam spray you spray up the AC drain tube works. Turns to foam at the condenser area, then turns into a liquid and drains out. Drained out a lot of brown nicotine smoke residue. It’s called Kool-It AC cleaner. $16. Bought it at Napa Auto parts store. They may have to overnight it to your local Napa store.

I thought most all first generations came with AC as standard equipment. I stand corrected. Great idea to spray something through the air intake. I’d never spray Lysol through my air intake. I don’t have a bloody cold. Spray something like Fabreze that has odor killing enzymes. 1950’s Lysol does not. Screw that. Not sure why so many suggest that spray.

It's universal, it should fit on any flat bladed vent. I'm not sure how the 1st Gen vents are configured though so I can't say for sure.

mix up a spray bottle of bleach and water (mostly water) with a little bit of dish soap if you want a clean scent. turn the cabin fans on high and mist the mixture into the air intakes by the windshield wipers. We do this to get dead mouse smell out of the heater box and ducting if one died in there. I do this a few times a year because the PO was a smoker and every once in a while that musty smoked in smell comes back. BTW, the air fresheners are all carcinogenic.

Follow that up with Fabreze, thru the hood area air intake vents, fragrance of your voice. Fabreze kills odors, Lysol doesn’t.

Yeah the ax is weird so the button where “ac” goes is just solid liek there is a mold for it if you know what I mean but the button isn’t there. I can put it on the cold setting though like the blue but I don’t know how that is different from ac maybe I just don’t have it but my truck can blow cold air? I’m still not sure how that works but thanks.

Yeah like I said I don’t have ac she only blows cold air I understand what you mean but I was honestly just asking if these air fresheners fit in the first gen vents. My truck doesn’t smell at all I keep it in great condition I’m a clean freak lol not a crumb but thanks for the suggestions
