Alright just ate 3 melatonin gummys let’s see if I don’t wake up before 2am

 

Story time by Gritto Tractorman (short story.) My grandmother was horribly scared of storms. So much so if the sun was coming up in the east and it made the clouds look dark in the west, away we would go to the cellar. It was the same when my dad was growing up. He said he probably spent half his childhood in that cellar. And since she always had a fire in the wood cook stove, she would make egg sandwiches and get a jar of water and away we would go! One night I remember it was about 2am we headed out the door of her house going to the cellar and lightening struck a sycamore tree in the yard. This tree had a clothesline going to 2 other trees. The lightening caused the bark to explode off the tree, I will never forget the look of fear on her face! She was about 5’ tall and about 200lbs but she could run like hell!
