This is at a Manhattan Bagel in Doylestown where I picked up two DoorDash orders...

“Out of Order” my ass; It’s bad enough that many previously public restrooms are no longer public because of the pandemic, but I don’t understand why restaurants don’t want to tell the truth!

Inside a post-pandemic Chick-Fil-A...

 

I will not be saying where the above Chick-Fil-A is located, but I will tell you that I cancelled the order because it was only $7 and taking too long; The Chick-Fil-A on 611 in Warrington is the only one that seems to have its shit together based on what I’ve seen, so I think that from now on that is the only one I will pick up from!

 

Lo e these. Throw the resees peanut butter Easter egg ones in the freezer and then eat them. You'll thank me later. Lol

 

Saw this old Caprice while on my way to drop off an order, not far from the Subaru...

So there was something wrong with the DoorDash app tonight; I was summoned to Zoe’s Kitchen at the Montgomery Mall. Instead of thinking straight, I followed the GPS to the other side of the mall and realized I was in the wrong place; Upon arriving at Zoe’s Kitchen, I clicked “Arrived at Store” and the app second-guessed me, saying that it didn’t look like I was there according the GPS...

I clicked it anyway, picked up the food, and delivered it to the customer’s house without incident; The Zoe’s Kitchen order is important later...

So, after dropping the Zoe’s Kitchen order off, I get an order from an Asian tea place called Teapioca; While driving to Teapioca, another order comes in from the same place and I readily accept it. I arrive at Teapioca, and give the girl the customer’s name; She tells me there’s no order under that name, and it’s about this time that I realize both orders are for the same items, going to the same person, at the same address...

About this time, another Dasher comes in and has the same issue I’m having; He ends up calling his customer...

Since our apps proved that we had customers who’d paid for food and drinks from this Teapioca location, the two people on staff made the orders for us; About this time, yet another dasher (a woman in her 30s) shows up...

This woman states that she has two orders for the same person I have an order from; At this point I’d contacted the woman who’d placed the order and had cancelled one at her request. In a possibly related issue, this woman could not hear me when I called her and I had to text her. The female Dasher revealed that she’d had a lot of the same app issues as me, and ultimately ended up relinquishing the order to me since I’d gotten there first; At this point, a third dasher (a young guy in his 20s) showed up. I happened to glance over at his phone and realize that he also had my customer!



The other two Dashers let me have the customer since I’d gotten there first, but we could not figure out why I’d gotten double orders from the same customer, why the female dasher had gotten those same two orders, and why a third dasher had gotten a fifth order from the same customer...

We also couldn’t figure out why the restaurant wasn’t getting the orders on their end, or why the in-app GPS was out of whack...
