Dang, didn’t realize they are going for original price now.

@Jbogstaco you might want to look at boomslang for a harness so you don’t have to cut into your factory harness, BUT BEWARE they can tend not to work and are very pricy ($600). The harness that came with mine had a single ground wire wrong and would not tune. So if you go that route be prepared to rewire and recheck every pin on the harness. (Keep in mind that a harness of other years will have different pin ordering as Toyota changed the pins every year. Also only 01-04 and ca spec 2000 trucks have the same connector to the ecu, so if you go used on the harness keep it in mind)

The split second fueling controller for the 7th hails all the way from the paleolithic era, when mollusks gained sentience. It's acient garbage that URD still thinks is acceptable to sell.

I'd add an AFR gauge and a willingness to tweak and tune for a while until you get it dialed

I just bought that one. I've had a Boomslang harness for my Supercharged 3RZ sitting on a shelf for a year and I didn't realized AEM discontinued it.

No, you're thinking of stoichiometric, 14.7. But that's only ideal at idle and under light load/cruising. Heavier loads including situations during load under boost require more enrichment. For the stock 7psi I'd shoot for mid 11s low 12s. But you can always dial it in further once you get the baseline. You need enrichment to avoid lean surge and ping.

It would be smartest to have a progressive methanol kit as well because you will have usable boost in the <3000 rpm range, and that’s where you need the octane boost the most because the cams are loud and the factory ecu can’t use the knock sensors. Also the heat being taken away is worth it and improves the supercharger efficiency as well.

depends what the truck likes on the dyno but being rich is much safer than being lean so most run down toward 12:1 or 12.5:1. Some run richer but leaner with boost can cause big problems

Shameless plug, but since this thread is getting views... I figure it's a decent time to mention I'm selling a brand new Mega squirt 3 gold box standalone ECU.

    Nice
I’d try to get it working (and road tuned) before adding the turbo or meth. Definitely need an afr gauge to be able to tune the truck as well. Try to add things in stages. Etc: supercharger, then once it works add aem fic6, then once it works add a progressive methanol controller and retune, then add the turbo. Not sure if you should do the turbo with or without the sc on at first though.
