We got wise. We'd set up model tanks down the hall. Less chance of a BB coming back at us.

Blood was the badge of honor. Though I did learn never to ride a wheelie on a bike with no seat but still had the seat bar...refer back to earlier post...and somebody always got hurt!

We played a game in middle school, high school, called, lovely enough, 'suicide'

Played with a tennis ball against a wall. No limit on the numbers of players, the more the better.
Few rules but you had to throw the ball against the wall, if it bounced before the wall or went over the wall, everyone tried to punch you in the arm before you touched the wall. If the ball hit the wall, someone would try to catch it. If they dropped it, everyone would try to punch you in the arm until you touched the wall. As soon as you let go of the wall someone could throw the ball at the wall and if it hit you (without catching it), everyone would try punching you in the arm until you touched the wall. And the same if it hit anyone without them catching it.

    Good times, good times

Laughing hysterically. Let’s play a game where the object is to punch everyone in the arm...the ball just made it okay! Looking back we were just preparing our arms for covid vaccinations or wives who finally got tired of wit and charm.

Hmmm... lots of punching... Was it only you, or did everyone get punched? I usually hung with my brothers and their friends and was the youngest so if there was punching, I was usually the recipient....

    Happy St. Paddy’s Day.

I missed the Memory Lane trip last night. Fell asleep in the chair...

I cringe at some of the stuff I did as a kid and am lucky to have all of my digits.

We used to see how high we could send coffee cans into the air with various fireworks or other flammable items.

Both ways to school in the blizzards! BTW, we weren't raised by over sensitive woosy parents, that thought we were sensitive! Our parents raised us as they were raised, through the Great Depression, kids preparing for adult life situations and was their job to make sure we succeeded in life!

Does this topic seem touchy to me!

Good morning everybody. Happy St. Paddy's day!

Thunderstorms throughout the day today with severe weather warnings for late tonight/early tomorrow morning. High winds, hail, long duration tornados. Sounds like it’s going to be fun o_O
