What brings you back to our fair city? Missed having "hot" and "humidity" at the same time?

 

Got moved to full time remote work (regardless of pandemic) with the Seattle based company I work for and decided it was time to come back to Texas.

I've been enjoying the weather this past week! already had a couple of lake days

 

Several of my employees and most of my contractors are full-time telework, and their productivity actually went up. On the reverse of that, I have a friend from down the street who had to move up to Belleview because they wouldn't let him telework. Even with the pandemic.

He says he sits in his cubicle and remotes in to equipment all day. "I can do this from Japan if I wanted to - why can't I go back to Austin?"

It's going quick now! They were able to finish putting up drywall last week and they will be setting our brick & stone this week also. We are 60 days out or less at this point. Should have a 45 day check in here this week or next. Glad they did not say anything about my garage insulation job
