    Huh that’s curious. Those moogs should last you for quite some time. At least those months you need.

    @Sig Taco
    Spacer is only 1.25” I believe...

    @EatSleepTacos
    That’s exactly what I have been reading and am afraid of... people saying the JBA ball joints seem to be wearing prematurely. Granted, they are cheap and easy to replace... but I don’t want easy to fix. I want durability and longevity. Don’t mind ripping off a $700 payment if it means I’m good to go for years.

    They really are easy to replace, so that's good at least. I agree though, we shouldn't have to replace these things every year or two. That's why I recommend the DK now. Still simple, don't break the bank, aren't that bright red color, and the ball joint is easy (ish) to source and replace as well.

    Running 275/70/17?

    Thats 10.8" wide + 1.25" wheel spacer
    Thats about when rubbing might start without a CMC.

    I see many claiming rubbing with 285, 17x8.5 and 1.25" spacers.

    @Sig Taco

    Honestly, I have yet to decide on tires at the moment. Not looking to max out the amount of meat in the fenders, just looking to wrap the 18’s with as much as I can comfortably. I’m still waiting on lift at this point, Eibach is shipping at end of April. But the wheels will def be 18x9.

    CMC isn’t a big deal... I was figuring that may be in the near future anyway.

    So JBAs don't work well with 285s?

    Deoends on your wheel size, offset, and backspace.

    I have 17x8.5 0 offset 4.75bs.

    I've seen a number of guys with 285s on that setup saying it rubs the jba UCA. I dont have my 285/75/17 tires mounted yet but ordered .75" Bora spacers to make it work.

    This confuses me so much. I have JBA's and the 4runner semas, I haven't installed my JBA's yet partly because of this haha.

    I have a similar size wheel and 285s. I don't want to run spacers. I may need to scratch JBA off my list.

    Well as far as this post goes with my original question being what UCA’s to get... JBA is now off the list. My original thought of Camburg UCA’s is now between them and the DirtKing. Do the DK joints have to be pressed, or is there a snap-ring that will release them?

    I just installed the JBAs and have the TRD Sema wheels and 285 BFGs. Work great so far and plenty of clearance.

    ...or should I just fork out the extra money and get Icon Delta Joint??

    every time I read a new review... people tend to say just go with these and be done with it!

    Not worth the money imo. i dont see the hype around them, and when that joint goes its 250 for a new set.

    That work fine. Just need to have correct wheel/offset.

    I’ve been running Camburg UCA for about a year / 10,000 miles now with no issues, with Covid it’s been almost 100% on road, but planning to change that this spring! 1 1/2” lift on fox mid travel 2.5 coilovers aligned no problem to just under 4 degrees of caster zeroed out on toe and camber.

    Mine are pre x-joint, I think they used a Moog ball joint previously. No question there a lot of good upper a arm options to chose from, so far Camburgs are working well for me.

    Same here Camburgs with the Moog ball joints are working well for me. Bummer they're not available now.
