Good morning everyone.... has anyone installed a front receiver hitch or know of an aftermarket bumper that has one incorporated into it? I tossing around the idea to have the ability to mount a winch or mostly a road feeder for hunting. If anybody has installed one or has any info it would be much appreciated. Also I'm not a welder or have access to one. Thanks in advance

I've seen a 1st gen single cab with the front hitch linked above.

It sits just below the stock bumper plastic and is fairly accessible and sounds perfect for your needs.

It should just bolt right up.

I have to ask; what is a "Road Feeder" for hunting? Here in Michigan, we can't bait anymore for deer (cause of CWD spreading), but still interested in hearing about what you mean by that. Ditto on the Curt Mfg front mount receiver hitch from etrailer.

A road feeder is just a feeder that can be mounted into a receiver hitch and you use it to feed the roads when driving around the ranch. Here in Texas, they are really popular especially down here in south Texas.

Man that is slick... basically what I am going for, Thanks. Would I have any issues with the mount if I have just a regular old grill guard on the truck also? Probably need longer bolts to accommodate both and maybe some finessing?

You're on your own with that. I have never had a brush guard so I don't know how most of them bolt up.

Ah; that's what I thought but wasn't sure. Our Michigan "ranch" is small and wooded; 100 acres, so with only 5 or 6 permanent blinds, we used to just bait out in front of them in a few shooting lanes.
