Over the summer we put limits in place as there are 13 kids that hang out at our house. In the winter we have less kids (half the kids summer in our neighborhood with their grandparents)

I make my wife rice bowls as well - I got a Blackstone grill for my birthday last year and its really fun to cook hibachi style on though I am still working on my onion volcano

I meal prep for myself, usually on Sundays. I cook up a weeks worth of eggs (baked in a muffin pan with vegetables), some potatoes, enough chicken for both lunch and dinner, and rice. Since my wife has been home with the baby for 10mos she just does whatever with whatever we have around the house but when she was working and had a set schedule she was much better at the prep as well. It definitely saves money but eating the same thing everyday is not for everyone lol

My mom "I'm not feeding the neighborhood"

We weren't allowed soda or kool aid at home as kids..so if we went over a friends house and their mom offered kool aid...We're finishing that bottle like old west card players....

Yep. I had 3 and got snipped. 5 mouths is a lot more expensive than 2...and they continue to eat more as they get older.

I think mine is finally seeing how much she spent on fast food on a weekly basis. Even though she makes enough to do it... It adds up quickly. 8 here, 15 there... So I am usually inclined to make lunches if I can. Or eat leftovers from dinner as my 4 and 8 year old don't really like eating our dinners a lot, yet. Picky SOBs

FYI $OPGN has reverse split 2x, once in 2018 1:25 and 2019 1:20 so that's 1:500 so any price spike needs to be divided by 500 to get the real price...so a $1000 spike is only $0.50 after the reverse split...

I had 2 then got snipped.... and what they dont tell you about the "no scalpel version" is that they just use a needle nose pliers to rip a hole in your coin purse... Fucking hell, I would of gone with the scalpel if I had known they they just jamb that in there and open it up.

Rice is cheap (big bag of Jasmine from Costco for 15 bucks lasts a month). Chicken thighs are cheap. $5 for 3lbs. Pineapple is the only expensive part. 4 cups of rice, and split the chicken up over the meals. Yeah, $20 for 8 meals is pretty doable.

Anyway, stimulus is starting to hit major banks today. What is going to be the play?

Between my first and now (much more happy and successful) marriage I lived a heavily budgeted and nutrient tracked life and was able to feed myself 4200calories per day on only $80 of groceries per week...and that was a clean, high protein diet. Not a lot of junk other than a daily pop tart I would treat myself to after I finished a workout :cookiemonster:

I listen to a medical podcast and they talked about this...so "No Scalpel" Sounds great for advertising...but as far as surgery goes I'd much prefer scalpel to hedge clippers or hatchet...

Short term (until late May) mine might go into something. I have 16k worth of landscaping coming up... would love to see some use until then.
