    Friendly reminder for people who are flashing others that you should take care to be specific if you're offering your own custom tunes, because @OVTune has already made it clear that there's no such thing as approved dealers/flashers for performance tunes, etc, because they're not his.

    There's absolutely nothing wrong with advertising your product and wanting to make a profit. I've made my fair share of edits for customers. But don't do it in a misleading fashion, that's just immoral and if there's issues, it ultimately leads to customers then reaching out to Mat for support when they're running a tune that isn't his. This has already been established and addressed by Mat before.

    To be fair, I wouldn't have interpreted him saying "the performance tune" as meaning anything other than "the performance tune that we offer."

    THAT SAID... I wonder if @PapaRee is aware of these guys offering up his latest tune. I hope he's getting a cut.

    Without other context, this sounds like it is OVT / vF 'approved' folks offering an OVT / vF Perf tune, not some shared tune.

    John Gobbels is not a pro tuner, if he is part of PapaRees network, then ultimately you have to trust that network of people providing the tune.

    Since it is specifically PapaRees and XYZ other people (I know it is a collaboration) it really shouldn't be called "ovtune" anything. It's a custom tune made by PapaRee Tuning, or "tacoma Calibration Tuning Co" or whatever.
    Northern Moose Engine Performance services.. Who knows.

    But it's not "ovtune' Anything and shouldn't be called as such.
