The Storm Prediction Center issue PDS (Particularly Dangerous Situation) Tornado Watches when conditions are favorable for long-lived and intense tornadoes.

They comprise only about 3% of the overall tornado watches issued.

In Central Alabama, the watch includes: Autauga, Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Clay, Coosa, Dallas, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston Counties.

It will be in effect until 7 p.m., but you can expect additional tornado watches throughout the overnight and in areas not covered by this watch.

According to Josh Johnson, meteorologist that heads up our Storm Squad, every meteorologist in Alabama thinks this is a potentially dangerous day. All of the ingredients are there

Today’s severe weather risk is about as high as it can get across parts of Alabama according to the latest Storm Prediction Center Day One Outlook.

The SPC has added a 45% HATCHED tornado risk area across eastern Mississippi and western Alabama in addition to the large 30% and 15% risk areas also outlooked. The entire state is in at least a 10% risk.

The percentage refers to the possibility that a tornado will pass within 25 miles of any point in that risk area. The highest percentage the SPC will issue on a Day One is 60%.

The “hatched” refers to the threat for significant EF2 or greater tornadoes. Nearly all of Alabama is in the hatched risk area. You can see it on the main SPC day one tornado probability graphic.

Just another indication of how serious this event is

Its not Taco Tuesday but was Maserati Monday..

Just to give you some perspective on the difference between OEM Flashing like the Tacoma and adding an inline performance ecu.. Its just a different way to achieve the same outcome.

That outcome is calibrating the vehicle to produce the most power while being efficient (burning as much of the oxygen as possible in the cylinder) for proper emissions and fuel economy.. All this while producing a driving experience that is tailored to the client.

So for this client we had to cut into 3 separate OEM harnesses in this beautiful Maserati Gran Turismo~

A bit nerve racking cutting into the factory harness, but in the end the car is even faster and more responsive than stock all while keeping OEM efficiency and providing a better driving experience..

Trust comes with time and I just wanted to share some of the other tuning we do..

    Have a great week ~

    John
