Wonder if the ripple effect is going to hit Tacobeast inventory if they aren't allowed to sell them without a repackage. This could be devastating for some people.
Might also make the existing handles collectors items... lol.

True. I think there's an expiration date where Wellsfargo will just credit me the amount and then continue working on getting their money back from the credit.

Funny thing about Tacomabeast, they don’t actually handle the item. They take the order and advise their “supplier” (KT) and she does the shipping direct from Rainier.

 

That is silly, esp with KTJO 4x4s known shipping and comms issues.

 

The post says "I have been informed that the US Customs has detained all 165 Boxes and they want to inspect all the goods in our container."

A previous post says "Driver’s Side Grab Handles have ARRIVED and are ANCHORED down in CA. They will get picked up in a couple days after all 164 Containers get accepted through customs."

Sounds like all the containers on the ship are getting inspected. Her shipment has 32 boxes. I hope they get on it and it doesn't take too long, the grab handles get delivered to us payed customers and I can be done with this. After that I don't care what happens, I just still want that damn grab handle.

Getting the handle was where this all fell apart for at least half of the folks on the first batch.

Customs will hold anything and everything for inspection. Doesn’t have to raise a flag necessarily.

Counterfeit goods are one of the primary targets though. Unfortunately unless they got a tip from Toyota they probably wouldn’t know what to make of these and release them.
