I enjoyed the Balboa statue in Philly more than the art that was in the museum.

 

Turns out The Renaissance Period makes for great meme material, they were truly thinking ahead back then

Speaking of cinema, turns out the one we have here in town is shutting down for good thanks to covid. Was a great theater too, could order food (actual food) and beer/drinks while you watched a movie and they bring it out to you. $5 movies on Tuesday nights...gonna miss that place.

 

Absolutely. Also if they are only looking for cheap, you really don't want to work there very long there anyway. I could tell you some incredible stories about cheap companies that operated in FL when I lived there. They moved in looking for cheap high-tech people. They got cheap. That's all I can say. I got the hell out of there as fast as I could.

I had to squeeze through 30 feet of Chinese tourists to get close enough to see it when I was at the Louvre. It's very underwhelming, considering on the opposite size of the room there's a building sized painting on the wall that's much more impressive.

The old architecture is much more impressive than any painting will ever be.

I see these vans everywhere around here. Since Diesels pre-1997 are SMOG Exempt, they're the only imported cars I ever see. They're always Diesel.

 

I was 13 when I went to the Louve with my parents and basically only got to look at my choice of the floor or the ceiling to avoid anything inappropriate

This is getting out of hand. Dude was probably smuggling 8-9 people in the bed of the truck. And the truck didn't get to Loma Alta without passing through a Border Patrol checkpoint. So the passengers got in afterwards.

The Model X is famous for being impossible to roll over, because the center of gravity is so low. It just flops back right side up.
