    Hello,

Why Lift? going to be a ranch truck in a few years, taking it off road in the hill country of texas, want to give a few inches of extra space under the truck with a reasonable price. Also do like the look of a lifted truck, but nothing super crazy.

    https://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-742c.html?find=2019-toyota-tacoma-4wd-740124

Thinking of putting this kit on my 2019 Offroad 4x4 taco. Will make it a 3.5 inch lift. Curious if anyone has this lift installed and how the ride quality is? Pros/Cons? General Comments?

Install guy said adding 17 inch Toyo AT tires would be a good idea, currently running stock 16's. Anyone that has done around a 3 - 3.5 inch lift, can you keep 16's on it or does it look stupid with the amount of space in the wheel wells? Thinking about cost savings as my stock tires have a good while until I need new ones.

In general with a 3/3.5 inch lift how much stability and performance are you going to be loosing. I assume a decrease in MPG will happen due to the extra drag added with more parts exposed to the wind and such. Also if I add bigger tires that will increase the weight.

Lifting the truck, will that mess with the safety sensors/radar/light sensor? I know mechanically it won't just wondering if that 3 - 4 inches makes a difference in the sensor range or anything.

Does a lift kit decrease or increase the value of your truck or is doesn't doe either? I would assume it would do neither for the resale value to a dealer, but increase to a person.

Any comments and suggestions are welcomed, to any or all questions. Thanks guys!!

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. A lot of hate on the rough country kits. But I've installed them on quite a few jeeps with no complaints. My truck is mostly on the road and the occasional Tline and driving over mats for work or in a substation before the rocks are put down. Bump for someone who might of installed it also.

2”-2.5” is the sweet spot. IMO
    Good luck

Cv angles , new upper control arms maybe needed. Then you will want 285’s and so on and so forth. Go down that worm hole if you got deep pockets. Higher is not always better

The OP above mentioned kit does come with arms. That's the reason I was looking at it, as well as never had problem with the jeep kits in the past. But I get what you're saying about the cv angels. Something I read about in searches but didn't know how high you would have to go before that became an issue.
