    Thanks!
Easy enough to go out and take a few more pics. I went with grey (truck is silver), but black would look good too.

Looks great! I recently did pretty much the exact same thing to my quicksand, minus the black emblems. Even the little Toyota livery badge

I know a lot of people hate on the pro grille now (I think they're all butthurt that they payed >300 for them, and now they're cheap, lol. That or they're just hipsters) but I still think it looks great. I was thoroughly disappointed with Toyota's choice to go chrome on the TRDOR grille.

One of the first things I looked into when I bought my truck in 17 was the pro grille, but as it's just aesthetic, I couldn't justify the cost of purchasing one from the dealer, so I plastischmoo'd my grille black. It looked good. But 3 years of rocks and stuff later, it was time for a recoat. I was on ebay looking for something unrelated and came across a knock-off for $89 free shipping, and just couldn't pass it up.

    Genuinely happy I did it.

Who hates on the pro grill? you shouldnt be friends with people if they do hahaha
I got mine from Toyota, def not butthurt. Many years of buying aftermarket parts for my cars ive learned early its not always good to get the less expensive option. To each their own.

Just a heads up, with a tire size difference that drastic, if you get a flat in the rear, pull a front tire and put it on the rear to keep your drive tires the same size, put the donut on the front and don't put it in 4wd. If you run different size tires on your drive axle, you risk blowing up the rear end. different tire size, different rotational mass, one wheel spins more/faster to cover the same ground as the larger tire.... it ends up fighting each other and you will grenade the diff.

So after inspection, they do have a slight lean towards the front of the truck. However, when I open or close the hood they don't seem to move whatsoever. I've talked to plenty of guys who have had them on for a little while now and have never heard of anything happening as a result. If it did actually snap off then you'd just have to reground the battery, but honestly I don't see that happening.
Hopefully I'm not jinxing myself now!:fingerscrossed:

Found a good spot on the upTOP overland roof rack to mount the v700 Pelican storage case.

Great choice for a case! I have two Pelican V770's on my Prinsu. I like the extra storage room for some of my camping, fishing, and recovery gear. I Plasti Dip the orange strips in black but one member told me he just took a flat head screw driver and peeled them off.

I really like the blackout look with the quicksand. I may be wrong, but I think the first pro grills didn't have the TSS ability either. Now they do, so I didn't have worry about that. Plus if you lift your truck 2", it moves it to the correct height plus I thought the little tri-color emblem gave it a bit of pazzaz. Heck, if your gonna go classic, go all the way!

Added the resister pack to make the back up/directional LEDs hyperflash go away, replaced the short and stubby ball mount for my DSM, and replaced a harness for the Stage 1 LED tail light kit.

Thanks to Meso, Tacomabeast, and Taco Garage for great customer service.

All is well on my Tacoma.

Well, of course until I find something else that I just have to have. :spending:

I agree. But there are a few exceptions, and a few of these aftermarket grills are pretty darn good. Mine fit perfectly and am super happy with it. Looks like it came from the factory. But like you, I have learned that as rule you get what you pay for, (with a few exceptions).

I had the StopTec (from SOS Performance) Big Brake Kit (340mm rotor for 17" wheels) installed today. My Taco is heavy and this helps. Only got about 30 miles in on them on the drive home from the shop, but so far they feel great. I have to put about half as much input to the pedal as I did before, to get the same braking response.

Thank you. I never realized how hard it was to install, film, talk, try to make it make sense/ look good, edit, and for me not come off like a huge douche.
I appreciate the sub. Thank you again.
