Update: got my 2021 Altima. 50 miles on the clock, "key system error, see owner manual" while parked in my driveway. Car won't start, just clicks. No problem, right? Google since I'm too lazy to unwrap the manual, it gives me this:

"The I-Key System Error message warns of a malfunction with the Intelligent Key system. If the light comes on while the engine is stopped, it may be impossible to start the engine. If the light comes on while the engine is running, you can drive the vehicle."

Well, now... that's a problem since the car is parked. Ok, time for manual since Google is of no help, and... it says the same thing! Word for word!

Pulled the battery, swapped out key fobs, held down start button, all to no avail.

    FIFTY MILES ON THE CLOCK.

    WTG Nissan!

Saw this Eclipse in the parking lot of the Montgomeryville Chipotle while doing DoorDash; When this generation was released in 2005 for the 2006 model year, I thought it looked kinda cool...

However, from what I’ve read about these cars, they looked a lot sportier and fun to drive than they actually were; The V6 version (which I’m pretty sure this one is not) had power, but the 4-banger was rather meh...

Whenever I see one of these, it is generally not in very good condition (this one has a buckled hood), and in my opinion even the most mediocre of vehicles deserve to be cared for :(

A perfect example of “even the most mediocre of vehicles deserve to be cared for” would be the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage from Minnesota that has over 400K miles!

Actually, the 3.5L is a damn good engine; It’s those stupid CVTs that cause all the problems...

My best friend John had a 2006 Nissan Maxima SL that had a real transmission; He bought the Maxima used in 2010 with less than 40K miles and traded it in 2016 with almost 170K miles (he drives A LOT for work). His biggest reason for getting rid of the Maxima was that it took premium, and he traded it for a 2013 Altima; I forget how many miles the Altima had on it when he bought it, but it had like 92K miles when he traded it in late 2019 and he was afraid the CVT was gonna go...

He traded it for a certified pre-owned 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe with less than 5K miles (the Hyundai has a conventional transmission) and has a little over 20K on it now I believe.

My cousin has a white 2017 Toyota RAV4 XLE AWD; She lives up in Wilkes-Barre and commutes to work directly through coal country. Let's just say she regrets buying a white vehicle now!

If anyone were to come out with an affordable 4x4 van right now, it'd be hard to pass up. Not something you have to get a company like Quigley to retrofit (although they do a fantastic job). That market is hot right now and glamping/alternative living is all the rage. I'd definitely be tempted to spend a weekend in one of those and see if it was for me for weekend getaways.

Never seen an NV look so cool; Usually if I seen one of these, it is beaten to shit and has either Amazon or the name of an HVAC company emblazoned on the side...
