    It's called 'Ohio Tacomas'

Once you join, if you scroll down a bit you'll see the meet n greet. I believe it's at Quaker Steak & Lube in North Columbus (Polaris).

I'm a transplant from CA, so I'm not as familiar with trails, parks, and campgrounds in the state. I'm looking online as I write this, so I'm open for suggestion and feedback. Ideally it would be a place with trails for everyone and everything from bone-stock up to Jeep recovery.

Anyone know anything about Heiney Farm private off road park?

Also, while looking at the Kentucky TW page it looks like they do an annual thing at Rush Off Road park down in KY. It's only a 3 hour drive from Columbus and may be worth checking out. Anyone been there before?

Anything planned coming up? I still haven't taken mine on any real trails since I've owned it and would really like to get out there sometime this summer.

Not a ton of options in Ohio, if any.. I've been asking around and it's all private land or pay to ride places

SOR seems fairly popular. I'm not familiar with the trails myself. Maybe someone else can chime in

SOR is as mild or wild as you want. You can putt around the sandy areas and open trails relatively easily. The back woods trails are muddy and have plenty of deep spots. Lots of little hills to climb as well. There's also some gnarly spots if you're so inclined. Getting "pin stripes" from branches is the norm though.

Hey just wanted to post in here for anyone who doesn't know.

I'm Jeff and I own and operate Valley Tuning based out of the Cleveland/Akron area. We develop in house tunes for the 3rd Gen trucks as well as install the original OV Tune if desired.

I'm sure I've seen a few of y'all on the Facebook group

Unfortunately no, but if there is a way to develop for them I’ll try and find it

    Gentlemen

I am back... both in a Taco and in Ohio

Picked up a used 2021 base 4WD Taco today, and also moving to rural Richland County effective July 10-ish. 5 years in California (thankfully) drawing to a close. Still got my 4Runner, too. Maybe we can do an abandoned road exploration day over in eastern Ohio after I reacquaint myself with the area.

Welcome back!! I'm down. It was fun in the freezing rain and snow, but I'd be interested in the same route when it's warm.

Still working in the same field or got new career aspirations?

I'm actually finishing up that career after 24 years. Dealing with these constant tweaking pieces of shit in California has drained me to the point where I honestly don't give a fuck about being a cop anymore. It used to be fun, now it's just one big risk... either gonna get shot or go to prison (or both)... my wife scored a great job so I can find some half-ass gig and fuck around for a while.

Can't blame you there. Crazy time to be a cop. Glad you and your wife found something that makes you both happy. Looking forward to getting the truck's dirty again!

Nice! I remember doing some gold mining out in Death Valley as a kid.. maybe 30 years ago. Good times and spent ammo casings from military planes all over the place. Great place to get off grid. Haven't been back since.
