Viper cut - ‘warts and all’ picture request.

Hey people. I am interested in the Tacoma “viper cut”, but was wondering if anyone could post a picture from inside the wheel well, or below, or close up. There’s lots of nice poser shots around when it looks all good, but I can’t quite imagine what is going on with the fender liners and other plastic parts and whatnot. If anyone couple post close ups of the results, including from different angles, I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you.

What good would this possibly do? Is the well wide open after cutting or is there a way to close it off with existing materials?

You don't have a bumper in front of your tires. Better when off road for obstacle clearance, worse when on road for fuel economy and wind noise.

 

Is like to see the what it looks like from inside the well. Does it end up supported at all? What becomes of the fender liner at the cut, or are those removed entirely?

I ain’t had fender liners since 2015 and I have a 2016! You’ll be fine!

 

It works aesthetic wise on 5th gen and even 4th gen 4Runners as well as GXs, however the way it’s cut on a Tacoma with the stock bumper looks terrible. To me it would be a complete function over form.
