Before you ask, yes, I tried the net, the owner's manual, even WASTED 18 minutes of my life on the phone with Toyota. First they wanted me to confirm their database info they had on me. Then I asked my question. Put on hold. Comes back and had the gall TO ASK ME WHY I NEEDED THIS INFORMATION. Knew where she was going with that line of questioning. Told them I needed it for baseline info so as to keep front/rear distribution as near to stock as I added bed cap, extra battery and other addtiions, so as to maintain the safety that Toyota intended by using the weight distribution. Puts me on hold again. Comes back and said that I WOULD HAVE TO SPEAK TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET THE INFORMATION. I told her, "You've wasted 18 minutes of my life. You do this everyday, and you knew immediately if you would be able to give out such info." Hung up. Bitch HAD THE GALL TO CALL ME BACK AND TELL ME THAT I HAD A SAFETY RECALL AND SOMETHING ELSE THAT I DIDN'T HEAR BECAUSE I HUNG UP ON HER AGAIN. THAT DEPARTMENT IS USELESS AS TITS ON A BOAR HOG.

Anybody on here know the front/rear on this? And before you ask, the nearest scale is 54 miles from here.

Finally had reason to drive close to the nearest scale, so I drove over and had it weighed. Now know EXACTLY the front/rear weight distribution.

I'm going to lift it on this, with the weight safely distributed, and go to work on it.

You know what’s annoying? When someone has the same problem you have, finds the solution but never bothers to share it with the rest of the world

Well, Shay...pardon me, but I'm kinda' laughing here! I posted that in November of 2019 podna. Some of my younger grandkids were mere zygotes back then. Okay, you see, mine has a bed cap on it, so my weight findings wouldn't be of benefit to anyone who didn't have a similar setup as mine. Now, if I had the frt/rear weight of a stock truck I could have factored in the weight of my cap and calculated the weights and approximate center of gravity for my purposes, at least close enough for the girls I go with. The converse would not be probable for others unless they knew the weight of my bed cap.

So you see, my solution is of no value to anyone but me. If you do indeed have the same problem as me, your answer is going to be different than mine.

And Shay, if something compels you to post up such sophomoric snark FIFTEEN MONTHS after this thread went dark, I don't think your problem is the distribution of your truck's weight.

Hopefully you are as bored as I am and not genuinely upset at what some idiot on the internet said.

And the thread that had the information I wanted was from May 2015. Amazingly old things don’t always go bad, if only we could say the same about some of the users here.

I have a DCSB with a camper shell. So what did you find out? Did you weigh with or without yourself in the vehicle?

Volt, I found that with my camper shell the center of gravity is roughly 2 inches back from that which Splitbolt shows in his illustration. To further dial in my lift safety I put an inclinometer on the lift and measured its deflection to insure the lift was balanced as I raised the truck. It showed only 0.2 degrees of deflection, so I am satisfied with my findings. For the same safety reasons I recommend that you take the time to weigh your own if you are going to be getting under it.

Super old thread, but if anybody is interested. This is with a little over 3/4 tank of gas. 54/46.
