Still think TITNC3: Return of the Iceberg was peak

I guess my question is, and I'm not sure if it's legitimate...

If the shares aren't actually bought... And you transfer to fidelity - are they "buying" those shares now... And does that effect the price?

My thought is that it would increase the price because those shares and now being "purchased"...

 

We don't know, and really there's not much evidence one way or the other to support the IOU claim that they aren't actually purchasing shares.

What it came down to for me is would I rather have my shares at a broker than put zero restrictions on buying and selling during the first runup, or would I rather have my shares at a brokerage whose business model is selling my trading information to the very company we're about to bankrupt.

I personally feel that the former is a better choice right now, even given the risk of tying up my shares for a week.

My buddy asked if the shares are frozen during transfer.

I don't know. From what I've read, they go into limbo until the transfer is complete. You may be able to cancel the transfer early if you need to, but it's not guaranteed.

It's a risk each person will have to evaluate and take on themselves should they decide to transfer. Nothing is written in stone on the process.

 

I like to clean the trout, lop the head off and then (skin and all) put it on a marshmallow toaster spit and roast it over a campfire. Skin peels off when it’s done, season with cayenne, salt and pepper. One of my favorite camp meals.

I tried to transfer after the first drop but fidelity kept crashing. Waited it out, and the day GME spiked was the day I was finally able to create my account. So I definitely just stuck with RH.

I just submitted my transfer request tonight to move all my shares to RH and I’m gonna keep my options in RH.

Only experience so far in either was a trip to mammoth. Other than high gas prices I couldn't find a single thing to complain about. Lakes in July were fun to hike around while there was still snow last year.
