It makes perfect sense. Rascal is loafed so hes content with being there. Hopefully its helping Rascal.

Ugh i hate the vet during covid times. My two were FREAKED out having someone else come get them and me not being in the room with them while they got their last kitten shots. So stupid how they're handling the pet side of these regulations.

Outt of the vet! Two puncture wounds. Doc said possibly a snake or stepping on something. They shaved area, cleaned, antibiotics and pain meds. Oh and drained the puss

I've had feral cats here by me with injuries that heal up OK without any trips to the vet. Tiki should be OK too.

I've heard the reason for that is that cats don't like the feeling of their whiskers hitting the bowl while they eat or drink, so they tend to eat out of the middle and stop once it's low enough for their whiskers to touch.

yes, that's the reason why they do this. The solution is to use a wide and shallow dish so their whiskers don't touch the sides of the bowl

Tiki is definitely going to be fine, thanks. We were just worried because after four days of no walking, no bowel movement and just now starting to bleed in her paw (Brooksie). I figured since it was getting worse it must be infected.

Back story on Brooksie- she was adopted by my GF 4 years ago at a campground. The campground and owners are great, they take care of their cats well(to a point ie- not fixing). Problem is there are enough to were they started inbreeding. Not trying to put all blame on them, random skinny cats show up and they will take care of them

We joke because Brooksie runs funny and has certain other problems (skin). She's our inbred kitty. Lol. She is named after the campground
