What the heck are my wheels??

    Doing my first major detail and want to bring my stockers back to life. They are hazy and look kind of dull.

    I have tried a lot of elbow grease and

    1)Eagle One Nano chrome and aluminum polish

    2)Eagle One Wadding polish

    3) Mequiars NXT Chrome polish

    4)Turtle Wax metal polish.

    All were applied to a clean wheel with fresh application pad and buffed w a microfiber cloth. All did nothing to make it look shiny.

    My wheels are chrome, right??? What do you suggest before I run up to the store and buy more crap.

    Came w the truck. I bought it certified preowned 2 months ago.

    Any product suggestions to make them super shiney?

    TRD Front & Rear Sway Bar, TRD Pro LED Headlights, Undercover SE, Rear diff. Relocate, console organizer, debadged, color matched handles, mirror caps, and grill
    Those are stock wheels from this region. I think some people just call them Gulf States 16" wheels lol

    I believe they are a polished aluminum with a clear coat over it like on machined wheels.

    Only problem I see in that pic is that you have the Grand Trek's too :rofl:

    But seriously... they look shiny to me. Then again, I only wash my truck a few times a year to get the salt off. I'm not the best judge of what "shiny" is :D.
