When it was that first round of checks, my buddy didn't receive his for over 6 months for some reason.

The "system" is fucked up. Plain and simple.

My thing with the unemployment is that they’ve had the same issue all year, and haven’t done anything to correct it.

then I get a letter in the mail saying unemployment is bankrupt and our business needs to pay 300+ a month more per employee a month to restock it.

so I’m shut down over a year, refused ppp because I wasn’t on a paycheck (we can’t afford to pay ourselves regularly) denied unemployment, because hey, I’m not me.

Then I’m taxed for it. While still not getting anything. Our books were a blood bath and we barely survived the year.

Sorry, but as soon as our parents pass, I’m moving to someplace like Florida but with less crazy people and better weather.

    maybe South Dakota or Montana.

My best friend went out to Montana. Although he went because it was perfect for a ski bum/ bartender situation. Hes still there and has no plans on ever coming back east for anything longer than a week.

I went out a few years ago for a week. Both the wife and I are set on retiring out there. It’s the only place either of us have ever been and felt like we really didn’t want to leave. I still think of it regularly and we plan to go back I think next year.

Yeah, covid hasn’t been good to my set up. Best thing was our baby and we get a lot of time to spend with her while she rapidly developes....it’s been a bittersweet year but I am thankful the wife and I have gotten that time.

Complete bullshit. And I have always believed less govt is better regardless of who in particular is governing. The lack of hearing is the thing that especially infuriates me. Perhaps drop a dime to local media?

Yup sounds about right..your job to fix their incompetence. Go figure.

The state lost a lawsuit the other day about their unemployment and never ending hearings, canceling peoples money without appeals and also taking money back from people. MA is not a good place to live, and again, without family here I never would have come back, and I will sell my business and leave when it makes sense for the family.

this is the "turn" I think. Next week looks amazing. I need a reallllly good car wash. Got new breaks right before winter and the dust on my wheels is embarrassing at this point. Inside could use it too.

I also need a really good car wash.
I was going to play airsoft on Sunday but I might pull my headliner back out to run wires (remote start antenna, compass/temp mirror and the UltraGauge) and add the Noico heat and cool liner (closed cell foam).

I may skip this weekend because I had an issue with my rifle and I ordered a new part (should be here in a couple days).

If I get home today and there's still light, I'm only home on the weekends...
