Morning Creed. Storms rolled through my area about 0300 this morning. Thunder and lightening, some wind, really didn’t rain much. Overall not as bad as the NWS predicted. Hopefully it will be that way for you guys today.

Since folks here are of a mechanical turn of mind, you remember a while back I posted a picture of a new toy I received, the "rivet buster"

(Essentially an air-hammer on steroids - 23 CFM @125 PSIG)

    Here it is in use:

Our antique farm equipment club is retubing the boiler in our 1912 Sawyer-Massey steam traction engine. Jason is in the firebox at the back of the tractor with the rivet buster collapsing the tube ends with a cape chisel, and Dave is on the torch slotting the smoke-box ends. We then put a drift into the rivet-buster and push the tube out the front.

    And, just because...
Friend: My son is is working on his 4H project and we need some help.
    Me: Sure, what'cha need?
Friend: He's learning how to cure meat and he wants to know if you'd like to try some of the bacon he's done and let him know what you think.
Me? Bacon? Hmmm... not really a fan.... Are you crazy???? GIMMMEE.. BACON...

(Cherry wood smoked... it was f*** delicious!!!!!!!!!! - Can't wait for the apple, next week! :D )

Thanks Man... we look it mainly as an excuse to get out of the house once a week, beat on steel with fancy tools we'd have no need to buy otherwise, cook 'burgers and drink beer.

I bet if you had some of this bacon you might change your mind.

I was not a real big Bacon eater Till I got hooked on this Home Smoked so to speak any other Bacon tastes like salty cardboard.

Easy to make Cut in half Pop in the Microwave adjust time to how crispy you like.

Well, I used to love bacon, like alot. However, one time I had it with breakfast for dinner and had maybe 8 slices with a couple eggs. Unfortunately it got coupled with a bad case of the stomach flu. So coming up (once would been ok, 10 not so much) it wasn't nice at all. Haven't been able to stomach (heh) it much since, and its been well over 2 years. I can eat it with burgers or in vegetables, but by itself I will pretty much gag myself. :(

Another thing I have taken note of Microwaves are just as effected by the Electrical grid dropping just like 120VAC welders .

One time things are still on the raw side next burnt almost to much

Everything else being the same but time of day

Precisely why I haven't been back to Taco Bell in 22 years.

That and Taco John's is better, anyway. :D

Now I need me some Oles.

Yesterday when my buddy was over he got to talking about a mutual friend of ours who owns his on equipment service. My buddy borrowed a backhoe from him a few years ago that had been recently painted. He went to use it and extended the backhoe boom and it wouldn't retract. He said he hated to do it but he called the owner and he came and took the cylinder off the boom and got fluid all over his new paint. Next day he came back and put it on. My buddy ask him what was wrong with it, he said I'm ashamed to say......it had a shop rag in it where he rebuilt it
